Univision Distributed Two Classic TV Networks (GetTV And Grit)

Univision is one of three groups, including Tribune Media and FOX Television Stations, that has essentially been the backbone of a classic TV network launch. Surprisingly ME-TV also has garnered little launch support from the five groups that have launched the most classic TV nets.

In January 2015 Univision added Escape to a number of stations. You can review those stations by clicking the interactive chart. Perhaps then as all the new network adds launched then in October 2015 we were able to see the correction where Univision deleted some channels or merely reduced the broadcast of a network to one station in a market.

Since most groups are carrying GRIT and Escape on full power subchannels, with the potential for MVPD carriage, we are reporting all the households. Soon we will be reporting to you the MVPD carriage of these subchannel networks.

Unduplicated Households- The households in the market are counted once even if the network is broadcast on TV stations reaching different sections of large markets or the TV station has multiple channels broadcasting in a market.
